Sat May 12, 2018 Dig it Day from 9AM -12PM 
Volunteer Activities and Schedule of Events
Refreshments provided and Free: Seeds and transplants while supplies last.
Volunteer Activities: 
  • Sheet mulching with wood chips the pic nic table area.
  • Refinishing pic-nic tables.
  • Planting a raised containers for A Culinary Herb and Flower Garden. 
  • Planting greens in the chicken coop at 11am.
  • Weeding our edible forest and planting native and adapted pollinator flowers.
Workshop and Planting Demo's:
9:30AM Planting Summer Cover Crops, Sweet Potatoes' and Buckwheat
10:00AM Planting the Culinary Herb and Flower Garden Mother's Day Inspirations

 

For garden Dig It Days, please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, hat and bring a reusable water bottle. Dig It Days are open to the community at large.

FEATURED SCHOOL GARDEN
Featured School Garden at Forestwood Elementary School
Dig in with us for volunteer time at Frostwood Elementary School. We we will have seasonal planting demonstrations, weed pullin', veggie harvestin' and crushed granite movin' . . . great familiy activities for all ages!
