Teaching Garden Volunteer Time at Gregory-Lincoln Education Center, 1101 Taft St. Houston, TX 77011. Activities: Planting & Harvesting Summer Veggies which thrive in Houston heat and humidity. 


October 13, 9:00am - 12:00noon, 

Professional Development Workshop: Lead, Share, Grow. Parents, educators and community garden volunteers will get hands-on experience that will help them best use an outdoor classroom. Gregory-Lincoln Education Center, 1101 Taft St. Houston, TX 77011. To register for this class click here.

Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, hat and bring a reusable water bottle.

Starting a Community or School Garden Workshop
In this 4 hour comprehensive workshop, the presenters will take you through the process of building community, setting goals and exploring funding options, to the nuts and bolts of creating the garden and helping to ensure its sustainability. For more information or to register click here!
