Description

Animal Farm rests on seventy beautiful acres bordered by a spring-fed creek in Cat Springs, Texas, sixty miles west of Houston. An extensive certified organic garden supplies fresh produce to some of the finest restaurants in Houston as well as the Bayou City Farmers’ Market. The land also includes a learning center which provides ongoing workshops and courses, including organic gardening, straw bale construction, earth building, renewable energy and eco-design courses.
In March 2009, Animal Farm became certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
