School gardens provide a dynamic environment where classroom lessons come to life. Gardens allow students to apply what they learn and see the resultsUse the resources below to find what you need to know about how to start a garden at your school or youth center.

Successful school gardens have been initiated by parents, teachers, science coordinators, administrators and parent groups. Getting started with the right ingredients is the key to success in your first growing season.

Dig in with us for volunteer time in the Cultivated Classroom. We we will have seasonal planting demonstrations, weed pullin', veggie harvesting, and compost turnin' for a great familiy activity of all ages!
