Gardening Basics Series - Class 3

This class will explore the basics of soil fertility and plant nutrition, as well as the many excellent organic fertilizers available for landscape and food crops. Application techniques will be profiled as will fertilization schedules.

Mark Bowen is the Urban Harvest Projects Director. He is the author of three books including Habitat Gardening for Houston and Southeast Texas. For many years Mark operated one of Houston’s first organic gardening supply stores and specialized in compost.
