If you are thinking of starting a community garden, this guide will get you started but we encourage all groups who are considering starting a community garden to take How to Start a Community Garden 1, 2, and 3. The information on this page is gone over in much greater detail in this three part class.

Don't let access to land become a barrier to starting a community garden. Visit Sharing Backyards to discover how you can utilize unused land to start a community garden.
